Today was the day for the Dutch Championships Sevens Rugby. At the National Rugby Center in Amsterdam over a dozen teams gathered for a great day of rugby. This sure was a nice dress rehearsal for the European Championships Sevens next week here in Amsterdam! Sunday 6 May was the day of the 9th Stappenbelt Rabobank MTB Trophy in succession, a race with international status! This race is part of the Dyna-Sys MTB Topcompetitie. A 1,1 km track through Westwijk was the scenery for the Wielerronde van Amstelveen. After 36 rounds it was Mitchell Cornelisse who stayed ahead of the pack to win the race.
